synopsis

An eco-fantasy animation directed by Karni & Saul and backed by the BFI, following a wild salmon's life and death imagined in human form. I came on as additional cinematographer and drone operator, flying and shooting live-action plates with a tiny crew in Iceland through the Covid period. It went on to a Palme d'Or nomination at Cannes, a BAFTA nomination, an Academy Award shortlisting and more than 50 festival selections.
